Our Chapter welcomed Toni Marsh, a professor and head of the paralegal studies program at George Washington University on Monday, October 9th in the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life. She gave an informative and engaging lecture on the importance of paralegals in the legal field and how they interact with lawyers.
From the private sector to working for the CIA, Professor Marsh talked about all the opportunities paralegals have in today’s legal landscape. While many of our brothers wish to be lawyers, some are not sure of what work they want to do in the legal field. Professor Marsh gave an excellent insight to the often overlooked paralegal field.
A big thank you to Professor Marsh for coming out to New Orleans and giving us a great event and our professional chair, Bronte Foley, for all the logistics work.
